The Companions
Retreat House Little St Michael's (LSM) is situated in the
gardens of Chalice Well and is available for all Companions
to come and stay, either indiviually or as a group. The house
is about 400 hundred years old with a more recent addition to
the rear.

Stays
from one night up to fourteen nights are possible and
booking reservations for individual stays can be made
up to 12 months in advance.

house is partly constructed from the old stones of Glastonbury
Abbey and has oak beams, inglenooks, creaky floors, and perhaps
even some resident friendly spirits! |

The
top floor of the house
is a large meditation
space,
known
as
the
Upper
Room,
where
an amber
light continually burns.

The Holy Thorn Room

The rest
of the house has 6 bedrooms, (one ensuite on the ground floor),
two other bathrooms, a self -catering kitchen, a cosy sitting
room and a large dining room seating 10 to 12.
Terms are
on a self-catering basis but the Trust provides milk, tea, coffee,
herb tea, sugar and eggs for guests.

Booking
up to 3 months in advance is recommended for the summer months,
though 'spur of the moment' requests can often be met. In the
winter months, the house and the gardens are quieter and it is
a perfect time to do a proper retreat and enjoy the gardens in
their inward mode.
A stay
in LSM includes 24 hour access to the Well and gardens.
