Peace Planet Project at Chalice Well 08.08.08
On August 8, 2008, Peace Planet Project is sponsoring a 24-hour global peace meditation, the heart of which will be in Chalice Well gardens.
Laura Merrell and her daughter Gabriella will create the image of a new symbol for peace, inspired by sacred geometry, in the meadow of the gardens using Earth-friendly means. Together they will hold the vision and vigil for World Peace and the healing of our planet for 24 hours. This promises to be a profound experience on a personal and planetary level.
They are inviting simultaneous vigils to take place around the world from 12:00 am 8.8.08 until 12:00 am 8.9.08 (UT-Universal Time/GMT-Greenwich Mean Time) and are encouraging people to create a personal personal peace vigil honoring the place where they are. Stories and pictures from these simultaneous events on 8.8.08 will be gathered on the Peace Planet Project website.
