The Geometry of Nature and the Cosmos with Tom Bree

"I have loved this course. It has expanded my thinking and changed the way I look at things. There is something incredibly calming and meditative about creating beautifully ordered and intricate patterns and then recognising them in nature and the world around us. Although I believed I was never very good at this sort of thing, Tom has gently encouraged and inspired me"

Following the continued success of Tom Bree's geometry course, we are delighted to be running a further Sacred Geometry Course for beginners.

This series of monthly workshops hosted by Tom, explore geometry within nature and the cosmos at the introductory level.

These courses have proven very popular, and there are limited places, so please book soon to avoid disappointment.

The approach of these workshops is best described in Tom's own words:

'Geometry is the governing principle of our earthly world as well as the wider cosmos. For this reason it has been recognised as significant within many different religious traditions. Through a practice of geometry and an awareness of it's symbolic dimension, the Geometer aspires to become a bridge of 'knowing' between the inner world of Archetypes and the outer world of their manifestations. Thus the geometer is the midwife who brings forth the cosmos in emulation of God 'the Divine Geometer' who brings forth the Universe in each new moment.'

Tom Bree is a geometer-artist, teacher and writer. He completed his M.A. at The Prince's School of Traditional Arts in 2003 and has since been researching and teaching in the area of geometry and symbolism.

Tom has been teaching on the Open and M.A. programmes since 2008 and organises his own geometry courses both in the UK and abroad. He also acted as curator for the Exploring the Sacred Arts of Islam exhibition at Chalice Well in 2015, as well as delivering daily workshops during the event.
