Joe has been running self-development sessions for over 16 years. His work was initiated by personal crises in his ‘20s and ‘30s, leading to a ‘wake-up’ moment in his late ‘30s. He has been running personal and team development laughter workshops for over 14 years, to a diverse client base.
He set up the Laughter Network’s Laughter Facilitation programme (www.joehoare.co.uk), is an occasional Visiting Lecturer at U.W.E, and in 2006 ran the 1st national sponsored laugh-a-thon for the British Heart Foundation.
He runs the UK’s longest-running series of laughter workshops (www.bristollaughterclub.com), featured in Dr Alice Roberts’ BBC 2 series ‘Don’t Die Young’, has been a healer member of The Healing Trust for 15 years, and was regional chairman for 5.
