Earth Festival | Chalice Well Wheel of the Year | Flowering (Meditation 7 am & 12 noon)

Morning has broken and Nature is blooming and flowering as we enter the season of summer. The earth is fertile and dancing the dance of creation. In the human cycle this time aligns with adolescence, the desire for self-determination and comprehension of potential.

The gardens open at 6 am and we hold a morning meditation around the Beltane fire at 7 am.

Maypole dancing is at 8:30 am, accompanied by live music.

We will also gather at the well head for midday meditation until 12.30.

FREE ADMISSION to the gardens 6 am to 12 pm

(Normal admission from 12 pm - Companions FREE)

Refreshments on sale 6 am to 1:30 pm

At 12:30 we invite you to join us around the fire on the Lower Lawn for informal ’conversation’. We hope this will be an opportunity for people to share ideas, thoughts and beliefs and a chance to increase connection through understanding.

Please feel free to join us for all or any part of the celebrations.

Chalice Well is a World Peace Garden. A place of peace and tranquillity for those of all faiths and none. These festivals are grounded in common principles; welcome, stillness, silence, reflection, grace, communion, community, relationship, celebration, gratitude and blessing. That people gather together, not in a formalised building or structure of worship, but in a beautiful garden, allows a shared acknowledgement of the sacred and divine that transcends borders and differences.
